What is PitchFestNW?
PitchfestNW is a startup competition within TechfestNW where startups at any stage can apply for the opportunity to present their amazing company to a panel of investors. Accepted startups from around the world gather together for 2 days of networking, workshops, speakers, and pitches, before the winner is chosen on Friday afternoon. Check it out here!
PitchfestNW Amplified is a special conference package for accepted startups who want additional engagement opportunities at TechfestNW. It includes two additional tickets, a table at Friday’s Startup Showcase on the main stage floor, and the opportunity to attend exclusive programming. Accepted startups can click here to purchase.
Where is the Viking Pavilion at Portland State University?
The Viking Pavilion is a brand new facility at Portland State University located at 930 SW Hall St. Portland, Oregon. You can find it easily by using this map for reference.
When is TechfestNW?
Registration on April 5th and 6th begins at 8:30am, with programs running between 9am-4:30pm and a party Saturday night! You can see the full schedule here!

How’s the Public Transit?
In a word–fantastic. The MAX Lightrail and Streetcar surround the PSU campus allowing you easy access to the Viking Pavilion. Plan your trip using Trimet.org with your MAX stop being 6th and SW College and your streetcar stop being SW Mill and Park.

Where should I stay?
We have two great options for you depending on what you’re looking for!
Guests of TechFestNW will receive a discounted rate of $179.00 on standard room types for the dates of Wednesday, April 4th-Saturday, April 7that the Hotel Lucia. This discount will be available until either the agreed allotment of rooms are all reserved, or the cut-off date of Friday, March 9th arrives. After March 9th, any additional reservation requests will be made on a case-by-case basis and may not receive the group discount.

Is there a Code of Conduct?
Our conference is dedicated to a focus of innovation and community by providing a harassment- free conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, past or present affiliation, physical appearance, race, ethnicity, or religion (or lack thereof). We do not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form.
Harassment includes offensive verbal comments, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, sustained disruption of talks or other events related to gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, past or present affiliation, race, ethnicity, and/or religion.
Harassment is not appropriate for any conference venue, including talks, communal spaces, parties, Twitter and other online media. Conference participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference without a refund at the discretion of the conference organizers.
I have my child with me, can they come?
They sure should and they can have tons of fun in the TFNW Little Vikings Room! Attendees can pre-register with Little Vikings ProCare if they are interested in taking advantage of Little Vikings Childcare during the event.
