Travis Rush – CEO and Founder, Sightbox
A serial entrepreneur since he was 16 years old, Travis has had multiple businesses over the years, primarily funded on the pay-as-you-go-plan. Some were successful, some struggled to gain traction and others he’ll quickly admit failed miserably. In 2012, Mr. Rush began the launch of his first investor funded business called Sightbox, which was ultimately acquired in 2017 by a division of Johnson & Johnson. He continues to grow Sightbox as the Founder & CEO, and claims he will continue to do so until he has confidence the company will be able to grow and thrive without him. At which point, he will most likely launch another healthcare related startup. Until then, Travis is actively investing in multiple Oregon based investment funds, individual startups and offering advice over coffee to any newly founded startup that wants it, in an attempt to help them locate their traction lever and pull it.
