Nat Parker – CEO, moovel North America (becoming REACH NOW)
Nat Parker is the CEO of moovel North America (becoming REACH NOW), and is a national leader in technology transformation for transportation and smart cities. For close to a decade, Nat has been spearheading digital solutions for public transit agencies and cities. moovel is now a part of Daimler and BMW’s new mobility services joint venture, and is joining forces with ReachNow, which operates car sharing and ride hailing services in Seattle and Portland, to become REACH NOW, a business unit focused on offering seamless access to multimodal transportation options. Nat Parker is leading the combined team as the NA REACH NOW CEO. Prior to leading moovel North America, Nat co-founded and served as the CEO of GlobeSherpa. GlobeSherpa launched the nation’s first multimodal white-label mobile ticketing app, TriMet Tickets, in Portland, in 2013. In April 2016, GlobeSherpa merged with RideScout, an aggregator of transportation options, to become moovel North America. Before his work at GlobeSherpa, Nat worked as a Project Manager for Element Power, overseeing the development of wind and solar projects in the Western U.S., as well as for Pacific Crest Securities, a technology-focused investment bank. In addition, Nat worked as Regional Manager for the Sierra Club in Oregon and Idaho, and served two years as a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer in Senegal, West Africa. He graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science from James Madison University and a Masters in International Management from Portland State University. Nat was recognized as one of Portland’s ‘40 Under 40’ leaders in 2014 and was honored as TiE Oregon’s Entrepreneur of the Year in 2019.
