PitchfestNW Amplified is a special conference package for accepted startups who want additional engagement opportunities at TechfestNW. It includes two additional tickets (a $360 value), a table both days at the Startup Showcase, and the opportunity to attend exclusive programming. Accepted startups should contact Sarah Nanbu to purchase.

Where is the Viking Pavilion at Portland State University?

The Viking Pavilion is a brand new facility at Portland State University located at 930 SW Hall St. Portland, Oregon.

Where do I park?

Parking Structure 3 at Portland State University on SW 12th and SW Montgomery St. will be available for TechfestNW attendees. However, we highly recommend that event attendees utilize Portland’s world-renown public transit when possible, as parking can be limited. Additional parking lots/garages can be found throughout the PSU campus using PSU’s interactive map. PSU does not guarantee parking availability. Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis. For parking rates and additional information, please visit PSU’s Hourly & Visitor Parking webpage.

How’s the Public Transit?

In a word–fantastic. The MAX Lightrail and Streetcar surround the PSU campus allowing you easy access to the Viking Pavilion. Plan your trip using Trimet.org with your MAX stop being 6th and SW College and your streetcar stop being SW Mill and Park.

Where should I stay?

We have two great options for you depending on what you’re looking for!

Heathman Hotel

One of Portland’s most recognizable landmarks, the iconic Heathman Hotel blends rich history with a reverent appreciation for the arts. A cultural fixture since the day it opened in 1927, the latest chapter of our shining renovation highlights the hotel’s one-of-a-kind Library and reaffirms the Heathman Hotel’s role as a welcome respite for the creative, artistic set in Portland and visitors from around the globe.

Guests of TechFestNW will receive a discounted rate of 15% off on standard room types for the dates of Wednesday, April 3rd – Saturday, April 6 at the Heathman Hotel. To reserve online please use the booking link HERE.

The Radisson RED

Now’s the time book RED, the hotel is continuing to offer the rate of $139/night. This hotel works on your schedule with complimentary WiFi, Chromecast, and a 24/7 fitness center. And you’re only ONE block from the Portland State University campus– can’t get closer than RED!
