Nicole Perlroth-Cybersecurity Reporter, New York Times

Nicole Perlroth is a Cybersecurity Reporter for the New York Times. Perlroth joined the New York Times five years ago. She has been awarded the prize for Best Business Coverage by the Society of American Business Editors & Writers for her coverage of cyberespionage. Two of her stories have optioned by Sony Pictures and The Weinstein Company for development into motion pictures. Before joining the Times, she was a Deputy Editor for Forbes where she covered venture capital. She graduated from Princeton University with a degree in political science and Near Eastern studies and earned her master’s degree from Stanford University. She is currently writing a book for Penguin on the underground cyberweapons market, titled “This Is How They Tell Me The World Ends.”
